Bob's Lasting Impression

Dear Kathy & Family My sincere condolences to you all, I am saddened to hear of Bobs loss. I knew Bob from my communications role at Montgomery Twp and as a nearby neighbor of Meadow Run. I remember Bob for how he took a leadership role and great pride in making the Montgomery Veterans Memorial a reality, including oversight of the actual construction along with Hugh Dyer. He spoke with pride of the accomplishments of his mayoral years and as a former mayor he always kept abreast of issues in town. Neighbors always looked up to his guidance and opinions on things. He was sharp, witty, energetic, and always had a twinkle in his eye, especially when speaking of his family and grandkids! He encouraged my son, who professed an interest in engineering and who is now a student at Princeton. Heck, Bob even helped me find my naughty dog one day.Bob heard me calling the dog when he had escaped our yard and went for a jog through Meadow Run! These are the kindnesses you remember. He was truly a man of conscience, a good neighbor, and a hard-working community leader who cared alot. He is missed and will be remembered fondly by me and my family and everyone. I hope sharing these things brings your family some small comfort in your great loss. With Sympathy, Tammy Garaffa
